“Yes, Old MacDonald had a farm E-I-E-I-O. But seriously, this farm was really cool. We signed up for a one and a half hour horseback ride through the desert but got rained out. They rescheduled us the next day, and we ended up getting a private tour. My horse, Smokey Joe, was extremely mellow. Since I have little to no horseback riding skills, I appreciated that our guide was extremely patient when teaching us the ropes. In addition, I basically learned how to survive in the dessert. Which plants to eat, which to get water from, which plants grow facing South, etc. The tour was extremely informative in a really interesting way. Plus, my horse had an irrational fear of puddles which kept the ride from getting boring.”   Well, we are the "strange" German couple that did explore the Arizona desert in pouring rain today! Desert and rain barely mix, but today it did. Our guide Caleb did a wonderful job explaining everything to us and the horses were cute - especially to me - the pilot! Of course we could have waited for better weather but decisions were maid - and we enjoied every minute of it - you can´t change the weather. Your enterprise, the horses and the people - just wonderful and so friendly.... more of that! We are in the Hilton Hotel right now and we are thinking of a desert without rain - having warmed up inside and out.... ! We will come definitely come back as today was a total experience especially with Caleb. He is a wonderful guide and took care of us so much. Had we more time we would spend it with you and your horses. I, the amateur in horses. enjoyed it so much and felt safe with Caleb as a guide. I like to come back and try a longer trip and a bigger experience (withoutr pouring rain" - you cannot change nature!.Thank you again for showing us a beautiful part of Arizona where I was trained on the F-104 in Luke AFB 35 years ago. I will keep this event in my mind. You all did a great job and I will recommend you to all my german, dutch and britiah friends who visitr Arizons from time to time. A big hug to you all, especially to Caleb, You all take care, Gaby & Heiko    Dear Friends: I just wanted to write and let you know that my husband, Bob and I (and our friends) truly appreciate the wonderful fun and hospitality you so beautifully provided for us when we visited your ranch this past October! It was the frosting on the cake when you said you might put my picture with Baldy on your website.  Please don't feel obligated, but I would really feel it an honor. "Thank You" God Bless You and your wonderful ranch. Love, Melenie I was a private ride with Allie. First, it was really nice meeting you! I just wanted to extend a kudos to Allie, she did an outstanding job today! I've been to a lot of trail ride places the in the phoenix metro area and I have to tell you, I was highly impressed with her. Having been a wrangler, i unfortunately have a little different insight than your first time rider, or only ridden a few times customer. Allie made the ride very enjoyable and not so rehearsed as most wranglers do. I learned a few new things about the desert and she presented that information in a very normal, unrehearsed way, how refreshing! It was well worth the cost and time. I thanked her and tipped her, but I wanted to let you know...you were right, she is really good! I am certain I will be back, but didn't want to take the chance of not seeing you and being able to tell you this. Thank you Mike! Good management is reflected in the how well the employees meet the objective....if your customer's satisfaction is at the top of the list, you've done a good job. Robin
